at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) offers rigorous summer and intersession courses and programs to highly-qualified pre-college students, visiting undergraduates, and current Johns Hopkins students. JHU offers three distinct summer programs:
programs are intensive, hands-on pre-college courses designed to expose you to topics from different perspectives. Courses are taught by leading experts, and feature guided excursions to nearby attractions. Students must be 15 to 17 years old to participate, and can earn one (1) university credit per session.
offers the benefits of the Summer University program with the courses condensed into two intensive weeks. Both pre-college and undergraduate students can earn up to two (2) university credits during each term.
offers qualified pre-college and undergraduate students the opportunity to take freshman- and sophomore-level credit classes in arts, sciences, and engineering. With over 100 courses being offered this summer, your schedule is about choice. Students must be at least 16 years old by June 30, 2018 to participate, and can earn up to seven (7) university credits.

The JHU Office of Summer and Intersession programs offers two (2) 50% scholarships to NSHSS members who attend the Johns Hopkins Discover Hopkins Pre-College summer session in 2018.
